BuySellMethods Affiliate Program Review - How I made $500 Selling E-books Online

Very simple yet effective trick that made me good money very fast.

What I did was registering a domain, creating a URL redirect, and then advertising that domain for sale on eBay, the forums, and aftermarket domain auctions. People saw my domain for sale, visited the domain to “check it out”, and got redirected to my Youtube video.

Youtube video is actually a promotional spokesperson video commercial about e-book I promote through affiliate program. Don’t worry, I didn’t create that video myself (I’m probably too ugly for that – just kidding -) ). 

I hired Jessica on Fiverr, a pretty expert for that. Sent her a script about e-book where she needed to say how e-book is good, profitable and easy to implement etc. and where she needed to recommend clicking a link (my affiliate link) in a description for more information about e-book. That was it. I paid $20 for video creation. That girl has very big influence on her watchers, believe me. 

I promoted internet marketing and money making e-books from Buysellmethods affiliate program as they pay 30% of any sale and landing pages convert like crazy.

Now when I registered a domain, found some good non-hyphenated .com domain with curiosity value (so people will type them in). Example: “yougetrichquick.com” , “makecashinstantly.com”, etc.  Most of the good two-word domains are taken, but you can find lots of three-word dot coms. 

Listed a domain for sale on high traffic sites : Ebay, DigitalPoint, DnForum, NamePros, Warriorforum, Sedo, SnapNames, Namejet , Moniker and every single forum with domain selling section.

When listed a domain for sale, used keywords designed to target natural serp results because many of the sites will have a high PR and therefore your “domain for sale” posting will show up in Google search results. Used keywords like “internet marketing”, “make money fast”, “get rich quick”, “home business opportunity”. 

Now, I didn’t get traffic  only from people who  checked out my domain. I got a LOT of youtube views from Youtube itself. Video had natural view growth (unlike most money making Youtube videos with botted views). I had many real visitors from different websites and forums, and that’s what made my video going “viral” on Youtube.  

If you don’t have money to spend,  try this without video creation. Traffic has decent quality and will probably convert fine. Just redirect your domain URL to Buysellmethods e-book using your BSM affiliate link.  

Let’s calculate expenses and earnings.

Expenses: $10 for a domain + $20 (optional) for video creation + $10 (optional) for listing on some websites = $40

Earnings: 25 main e-book sales + 13 other e-book sales = $534

Profit total: $494

I received my payment from Buysellmethods on time so I would recommend their affiliate program as you will get much better conversion than with any other affiliate network. I guess that's because Buysellmethods affiliate program is relatively new and unsaturated.
